Can you handle all this?
Well then, where should we start friends?
First I guess I get to say, "As Seen In"!
I will be in an art edit feature in House and Garden (Conde Nast) UK!
I figured, since I couldn't get back to London for another show, I guess I will invade their publications. Why not, right!?
Next to keep it local I will be taking my newest collection "For the love of Botany" to the Sherman Art Market! I will be bringing "In The Garden" a collection of abstract flowers. This collection will feature a multitude of sizes. It's been a refreshing pivot to just be in the studio and paint. With 2020 forcing a fine art photography sabbatical it was nice to rediscover the challenge of creating painted collections.
My first appearance will be opening weekend, May 29th! Not only will I be bringing this collection, I will be bringing along some popular wall art pieces, (and other lovely goodies). Not to mention there will be hand forged hooks and more, straight from my home forge. These hooks are used a lot in my wall pieces, and now can be purchased separately.
Where might this be< Check out their IG for more information: The Sherman Market
For something more 'local-local', say Denver Metro area, may I interest you in a particular art district?
Starting First Friday in June (6/4/21) I will be showing not just installations but my fine art photography. Yes one show, my two "personalities". Works have been selected to appear in the "Creative Reuse" exhibit in the 40 West Gallery!
A consistent theme of mine in much of my work is upcycle, reuse and awareness. I have found so many ways to convey issues, and reuse of materials through many mediums.
The show opening is First Friday, June 4th, 2021 between 6-9pm. 40 West Gallery, 1560 Teller Street, Lakewood, CO
For those who have never been exposed to my fine art photography , there will be these two works available for viewing too!
My fine art photography has been in shows throughout the U.S., London, Italy, and Dubai. Most recently the collection ( two featured below) "Mother Ocean" was featured in Art Impact International: "Save Our Oceans, Save Our Seas" group exhibition. Mother Ocean is part of my Mother as a Deity Series.
Mother Ocean is now suffering the effects of plastic pollution, and in this series I feature hand made costuming and sets from recyclables.
